Community Acupuncture Clinics are known for developing a core support system from the community and patients who have benefited from the community acupuncture model. As clinics mature over the years, these supporters turn in to volunteers who help to check in patients and answer phones. We will develop volunteer opportunities and training as the practice grows. Acupuncture students and licensed acupuncturists who are interested in opening a community clinic are invited to visit our clinic; we do ask that you first read Acupuncture is Like Noodles; : the Little Red (Cook) Book of Working Class Acupuncture before coming for observations. Please email Catherine to arrange observation times.
